Overview



The Galaxy Notifications Service is designed to keep you informed about important events and alerts related to your Galaxy MongoDB databases. This service ensures you receive timely notifications through email, helping you stay on top of your database operations and respond quickly to any issues.

What to Expect



You will receive email notifications for the following events:

MongoDB Down

When your database is not responding;
When this issue is resolved;

MongoDB High Memory Usage

When your database memory usage is above 90%;
When this issue is resolved;

MongoDB Container High Usage

When your database CPU usage is above 90% for more than 10min;
When this issue is resolved;

MongoDB Disk Pressure

When your database is running out of disk space;
When this issue is resolved;

Each alert includes



Clear status indicators (firing/resolved)
Database details
Alert severity level
Your Database Overview page to check the status and metrics for that database;

Notifications Summary



- You'll receive consolidated notifications for similar alerts

Important Notes



- All notifications are sent from an official Galaxy email address;
- Make sure to keep your contact information up to date;
- Check your spam folder if you're not receiving notifications;
- Notifications are sent only for significant events that require your attention;
