Payment and Account Management

Payment Methods

Galaxy accepts these major credit cards for your convenience:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover

To deploy, we require a valid credit card for identity verification. Our payment processor places a small temporary hold to validate the card, which is automatically refunded to your account. You will only be charged by Galaxy if you deploy a paid app.

PayPal is no longer supported as a valid payment method.

You can view and update your payment details anytime through your Galaxy account settings.

Monthly Statements

  • A detailed statement is emailed to you at the beginning of each month
  • Statements itemize usage by application and container type
  • Access your billing history through your Galaxy profile (individual users) or organization page (teams)
  • Download statements for your records or accounting purposes

Managing Your Costs

Immediate Cost Control

While you cannot adjust charges for past usage, you can prevent future charges by:

  1. Stopping applications: Apps with stopped containers (indicated by a full gray circle) incur no runtime charges
  2. Deleting applications: Permanently remove apps you no longer need without any penalty
  3. Downsizing containers: Reduce container sizes to minimize hourly costs

Regional Container Management

Remember to check all regions where you may have containers running: US Region, Europe Region, and Asia-Pacific Region.

Cost-Saving Tips

  • There is no financial difference between stopping or deleting an app—both halt all charges
  • For development or staging environments, consider stopping containers during non-working hours
  • Regularly review your container usage across all regions to avoid unexpected charges
